Kayaking & Canoeing in Loiret / Loir-et-Cher
We are a A non profit organisation, providing safe, fun and educational canoe and kayak activities.
In addition to our club activities, we also offer equipment rental services with several options, the details of which you will find below.
However, there are some prerequisites applicable to all rental options:
- Minimum age for children: 5 years old
- Sworn statement attesting the ability to swim 25 meters and submerge without fear
- Wearing the provided safety equipment and closed-toe shoes
- Respecting the environment in which you are (with particular attention when crossing the Saint-Mesmin nature reserve) as well as other users
Please note that the rates indicated are for individuals; for businesses, a quote will be provided.
Regarding children’s rates, they apply up to the age of 12.
Equipment rental only
We’ll provide you with all the equipment you need for your trip, directly from our premises: boat (Canadian canoe or sit-on-top kayak ), paddle, buoyancy vest, helmet (if necessary, depending on the route) and watertight canister. A deposit cheque will be required.
From there, you’re free to organize your descent in the area of your choice!
Then return the equipment to us, and we’ll return your deposit cheque.

Rental with transport of equipment
In this second option, we offer several routes in the surrounding area, with equipment provided at the embarkation point and collection at the disembarkation point.
The service therefore includes navigation equipment and transport: boat (Canadian canoe or sit-on-top kayak ), paddle, buoyancy vest, helmet (if necessary, depending on the route) and watertight canteen. It also includes the amount of insurance we take out for you.
What the service does not include, however, is the shuttle for all the people in the group, which you must arrange yourself. However, we can arrange for drivers to return to the starting point when the equipment is returned.

We’ll adapt to your needs and make anything possible:

An example of a possible complementary service is to call on our partner Nature Guide: Plume de nature, with whom we already collaborate during the summer for events organized by the Meung-sur-Loire tourist office.
Angélique offers guided outings along the Loire, Europe’s largest wild river, and the treasures it conceals. Sail past beavers, kingfishers and other migratory animals, and discover the wealth of edible wild plants. Leave with a head full of anecdotes and plenty to impress your friends and family! The half-day guided tour with Angélique includes a herbal tasting at the end.
